The Family Pants: You know that scene in The Sound of Music where the Von Trapp Family have fled the talent show and the announcer keeps introducing them and he says, "The Family Von TRAPP!" all loud? Well I could have called the blog The Pants Family but instead I like to say The Family PANTS! Just like that guy.

Sunday's Pearl:  is something kind of like wisdom wrapped up in an  idea or random bit of something or another. It might be something awesome, something awful or a lesson that I learned during the week. Every Sunday* I put that lesson on the blog. Let my wisdom words inspire or frighten you. 
* Except for times I have learned absolutely nothing and have not an ounce of wisdom to share.

Side eyed: Looking all the way left or all the way right with just your eyes as your body moves forward or backward. Try it and you will fall down. Unless you're Mr. Pants. Then it's how you get from point A to point B.

High Stepping:  Pushing ones feet into the ground with each step to achieve max sensation when traveling. Or some people call it marching. 
Pantsinese: The native language of Mr. Pants. He's been speaking it since he began talking. For a very long time, it was all that he spoke. That made people with letters after their names nervous. But it's all good. He's decided to go ahead an try to learn some English to calm everybody down.

Fancy: Well it's fancy. But it's also more than that. It's the way you feel too. Finding my fancy again is something I write about. For me, it's blending together the sparkling early twenty something me and the mama me. It also includes, but is not limited to, taking a shower, wearing real people clothes and dousing myself with glitter. Fancy is different for everyone.
